We teamed up with Snort, the cult comedic phenomenon to bring Karma Snort to Q Theatre. And all of it, every show, was totally made up.
December 21st 2015
Using audience inspiration, Snort creates riotous stories and scenes live on stage. No scripts. No rehearsals. No two shows are ever the same. And just like karma, at Snort, the audience gets back what they give.
With a voltron of Auckland’s hottest young comic talent including Rose Matafeo, Guy Montgomery, Hamish Parkinson, Joseph Moore, Laura Daniel, Chris Parker, Tom Sainsbury, Eddy Dever, Brynley Stent, Alice Snedden, Eli Matthewson & Donna Brookbanks each show featured improvised monologues from legendary guests Heath Franklin (Chopper), Guy Williams, Jono & Ben, Jacinda Ardern, Oscar Knightley, Vaughan Smith, Tim Batt, Melanie Bracewell & James Acaster, fresh in from London.
Every night was packed full of ruthlessly clever gags and scenes. Snort's sharp, but never cruel. And had the audience in stitches.
But the best thing is that all proceeds go towards sending the massive Snort team to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2016.
Because with Snort what goes around really does come around.
