Rachel from Longrain's Karma Cocktail

Our friends from Longrain Bunker Bar in Sydney had a bartender battle to see who could make the best cocktail with our drinks. Here's Rachel's winning concoction, a sexy little number with some surprising ingredients and techniques.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Coat the mixing glass with Absinthe then rinse with a dash of water* (trust us)

2. Add the Ron Zacappa Rum, ice and bitters

3. Top with the Karma Cola reduction (simmer 5 bottles on a low heat for 1 - 1.5hr until reduced)

4. Garnish with the cherry and enjoy.

*Rinsing the glass with Absinthe is a prohibition technique that brings out the anis flavour of Karma Cola. Told you there was sense in it!
